You are choosing people, not a brand
Wonderhub is independently owned and run by Alia, who is on site every day. Decisions about your child are made by the people who know them, not a head office in another city.
Small groups, better ratios
We deliberately keep group sizes small, especially in the nursery, so kaiako have time to sit on the floor, respond quickly and notice the small changes that matter.
The same faces, year after year
Our kaiako are qualified and experienced, several with more than a decade in early childhood. Low turnover means your child keeps the relationships they have built.
Nothing hidden in the fees
Morning tea, a cooked lunch, afternoon tea, nappies, wipes, sunscreen and bedding are all included. Every meal is cooked and baked on site from scratch by our own cook, including baby food for pēpi starting solids.
Real communication
You get regular updates on magic moments, daily sleep and meal notes for under twos, and honest conversations at pick up. For over twos just ask your child's teacher and we will share exactly what our sleep check and food records show.
A calm, homely environment
Natural materials, plenty of space to move and a large outdoor area. The centre feels like a home rather than an institution, which helps children settle faster.

We have been part of the Wonderhub community since my son was 2.5, and now as he leaves at 5, I feel so grateful for the experience we have had here. Wonderhub is such a beautiful, small, open plan preschool with a truly special community feel. The teachers are incredibly caring, supportive and genuinely love what they do, you can feel the heart they bring into the space every day. My son was so well supported through all his transitions, especially during those harder drop offs, and that made such a difference for both of us. He always felt safe, seen and nurtured. From the moment we walk in, she is met with so much love and affection. They have amazing teachers at this centre who clearly love what they do, caring for the children with warmth and affection. The new managers of Wonderhub ELC are exactly what was needed. As parents, we feel the love and care come back into our preschool. Alia has come in and consulted with the community about changes being made, and has listened to what has been said before enacting change. The kaiako there are as amazing as ever, they are the reason we stayed in the first place, and the menu has had a much needed overhaul.
